Ream Wrappers

In order to guarantee a good runnability of the copy paper, each ream requires a good moisture barrier. Perfect flatness is a must in modern packing lines, running at a speed of up to 180 reams per minute. The designers have created real art for the most successful copy paper brands, and the printers are forced to make their very best to reproduce it on paper or film. We also try to help our customers to find more environmentally friendly solutions as far as ream wrappers are concerned.

Multilayer laminates

Multilayer laminates, united by means of extrusion coating and/or glue lamination, guarantee good protection of foodstuff, and an optimization in terms of total Packaging material. Both flexographic and rotogravure printing is offered. Finnco-Iberflex is actively exploring new raw materials like for instance biopolymers. The multilayer laminates are delivered in reels, in sheets or as ready-made bags.

Trays, cardboard boxes and cases

The trays for smoked salmon and bakery products, are normally made of cardboard covered by a metallized film of polypropylene or polyester.

The cardboard boxes that are used for deep-frozen products, are normally equipped with a coating of polyethylene or  polypropylene applied by means of extrusion coating.

The corrugated boxboard industry requires a liner covered by polyester in order to resist the heat of the corrugator. Finnco-ART offers all these solutions.

Honeycomb

Honeycomb is a paper product offering outstanding protection against impacts. It is also very easy to mould, and is successfully replacing expanded polystyreen.

Honeycomb is recycled just like any other paper product in already existing recovery systems for renewable fibres. The product is sold in sheets or transformed. Recently a new application was developed, e.g.; as base material for digital printing.

Cardboard Pallets

Why are we using a pallet size of 800 x 1200 mm, even if the cargo frequently doesn’t justify the size? Why are we using heavy wooden pallets of up to 25 kg in the air transport, when a cardboard pallet only weighs 7 kg? Why do we take secondhand wooden pallets to super markets, where fresh food is being sold? We all know that there is “life” in wood, a kind of life not always compatible with hygiene.

Altec®-NIUPACK – Voidfillers for load securement

In order to prevent the palletized merchandise to shift during transport, a dunnage bag is frequently used. Altec®-NIUPACK offers the same protection, but at a much lower price. In addition, Altec®-NIUPACK helps you to convert half-full pallets to a normal-size cube, enabling you to stack all pallets the same way.

The product is totally recyclable; no staples and no valves!

Friction paper

The use of friction paper in order to prevent the merchandise to shift either on the conveyor roller belts in the factory or during the transport, has experimented a significant growth over the past years. Altec®KITKA offers taylormade solutions.

 Nowadays companies try to reduce the total amount of packaging material. Altec®KITKA helps you to replace  heavy corrugated boxboard sheets, which are often used as interleaving layers.

 Altec®KITKA can also be printed.

Water based speciality adhesives

Grupo Finnco offers special adhesives for a variety of applications in the packaging industry. They are always phtalate free, there are no solvents and they are by no means harming the environment. Finncol® is the registered trademark for the glues of Grupo Finnco. We offer extraordinary runnability when laminating board, and when covering ring binders with PP, PVC or paper. We have glue types allowing the customer to work with UV inks without unprinted space for the gluing, and at high speed even with substrates like paper against film. All Finncol® adhesives can be used for products that are supposed to be in contact with foodstuff.
